We arrived at 3 layers, serving 3 purposes after experimenting with hundreds of combinations.

Layer #1 - Base Foam

High density 1.8 PCF (pounds per cubic foot) polyurethane foam as its foundation layer. This layer sits at 6" tall and has an indentation load deflection of 30lbs, meaning 30lbs of pressure concentrated in a one square foot sample of foam (4" thick) will make a one inch dent. It provides relief to your shoulders and hips while maximizing support for the rest of your body.

Layer #2 - Memory Foam

The 2" center layer is a proprietary blend Visco Elasticity foam, better known as Memory Foam. Using open cell technology this center layer allows heat to escape making a cooler and more comfortable mattress. The memory foam layer has a density of 3LB PCF but has tested higher quality and more rapid recovery than most 4lb and 5lb memory foams.

Layer #3 - Comfort Layer

The 2" top layer is made with our proprietary Tri-zone Dunlop Latex. We have a special mold that we pour our latex foam into creating three different zones (from head to feet). These zones use different densities in order to support different parts of our bodies better. In other words, the center of our bodies weigh more than our heads do and we account for it.
